Visiting the hometown aquarium with Emi brought a real blend of nostalgia and new excitement, novel and cherished at the same time.

I remember coming to this place and looking at this window, thinking it was the biggest indoor tank in the world. Turns out Birch aquarium is on the smaller end (especially if you ever go to Monterrey, that place is Aqaurius), but getting to watch her eyes light up and point at all the fish “Doh!…doh…bleu” well…it was one of the purest forms of happiness I’ve experienced.

There’s so much to see, even in the smalelst of spaces. Can’t wait to go again.
